Nothing changed until I was 45.
I started drinking alcohol at 19. A late bloomer, I think you’ll agree.
I got my first job in IT at the age of 21.
Those 2 things, alcohol and my tech job, continued uninterrupted for 24 years, until I was 45.
That was when I quit booze, trained as a coach, and eventually began the journey of leaving corporate life to work as a professional coach.
None of it was instant.
None of it was planned really, and it certainly wasn’t neat.
But it changed everything.
I sometimes look back and realise how long I had been circling the edge of change before I actually took action. There were signs. There were questions. There were moments when I knew something in my life felt flat, even if I didn’t know what it was.
I did not wake up one morning with a perfect plan.
I started by get curious about what change might look like and asking myself some deep questions
That is really where The Second Act Blueprint came from.
Last spring, I created it as a small group course for people who want to take a proper look at their lives. People who are not falling apart, but who know something is asking for their attention.
Maybe something has shifted.
Maybe something has ended.
Maybe something is beginning.
Maybe life looks fine from the outside, but inside, there is a sense of, “I don’t want to just keep going like this.”
The next group will be the fifth cohort.
So far, it has been a very meaningful thing to run and witness.
The group is intentionally small, with a maximum of six people, because I want people to feel seen, heard, and properly supported.
Over the course, we look at where you are now, what has shaped you, what you may have outgrown, what still has energy for you, and what kind of next chapter you might want to begin creating.
But more than anything, it is a space to pause, reflect, and begin again with more honesty.
This may be for you if you have already made changes.
It may be for you if you are thinking about making changes.
It may be for you if you have that hard to ignore feeling that something in your life is asking for attention.
All the details are here
If it speaks to you, I’d love to chat.
xx
Gary

I wish you luck with your group Gary. It sounds incredibly useful for the tight people. 👍
