Book Review #2 Chatter: The Voice in Our Head, Why It Matters, and How to Harness It by Ethan Kross
My wonderful friend and fellow coach, Justine, recommended this book to me aaaagggeesss ago and I kept hearing about to so it was one I couldn’t ignore for much longer.
The first thing I noticed was the glowing reviews from luminaries such as Adam Grant, Susan Cain and Angela Duckworth which are reason enough to pick it up in by book (pun intend).
So what’s the deal?
Well, Kross delves into the science behind self-talk, revealing how it can be both our best friend and our worst obstacle. Through stories and compelling research, he uncovers strategies to dial down negative mental chatter and turn our inner voice into a powerful tool for resilience, performance, and well-being.
On Friday February 28th I drop a full review in here for paid subscribers where I’ll break down the key insights and how they apply to everyday life.
